With a win NDSU can control its quest to win the Great West Conference title. With a win Cal Poly will likely be assured a playoff slot. Folks, there is a lot at stake in this one. Even DI-AA Football Guru Ralph Wallace is coming in for this one!

I'm going out on a limb and predicting CP by a touchdown. I think the offense built some momentum at the Montana game that will carry over into this week. NDSU is competing for a conference championship, which is admirable. Poly is competing for a playoff birth, and I think they will show more fire at the game.

I think NDSU has the edge on this one due to home field advantage, and due to CP just coming off of another away game, that was a real battle.

However, I've really grown to like CP, their coachs, fans, style of play, and player's attitudes. I'm rooting on CP in this one.

1. Why schedule a home game like this during the ND deer opener.
2. Why is the game at 1pm

Seems to me a late start would give the hunters time to return home to catch the game.. They can't hunt in the dark. I hope we see a great turnout for a great matchup but I wouldn't count on a sell-out or even the biggest turnout of the season.

If Ellerson would adjust his game-plan to include a dozen throws to Barden, some on third and long. CP would have a very good chance of beating the Bison. Barden has the size and ability to be a game changer but Ellerson's conservative offense reduces his impact.

I'm cheering for Cal Poly big time in this game. It's not hating on NDSU, however; we need a couple more playoff viable teams, like Cal Poly and Montana State, to get to 8-3 despite hard matchups (Cal Poly having NDSU and Montana State having Montana) in order to prevent a scenario that could conceivably allow San Diego to get into the playoffs.

Cal Poly is playing in the playoffs this weekend. Win an they continue on, lose and they are home for Thanksgiving. I think you will see plenty of focus by both teams. This game will come down to speed vs power. Last year speed won. This year power is looking real good. I can not wait.
