This has been going on since we beat Iowa State. Probably the best game we played this season.. I really don't think we belong in that list. Maybe top 50 in all college football.

The people who vote an FCS team in these polls are like the presidential electors who vote for someone other than to whom they are pledged. Just looking for a little notoriety when they see their vote as a small footnote.

Yeah, they look good on the field for a northern team, but wait until they get on the field with some southern speed.

I disagree. Our performances against Weber and WIU doesn't inspire a FBS top 20 feel. Maybe top 50.

Just like since week 2: It's a single voter who has us at 23 in his AP poll. His name is Scott Wolf, and he's the USC reporter for the LA Daily News.

As stated earlier, I live in North Carolina. That means Appy State fans don't bother contacting me through Twitter or email. They just walk up to me at the Jiffy Lube and call me a traitor. But last weekend, the Mountaineers were stomped by their old Southern Conference rival Georgia Southern (I look forward to seeing what GS fans find wrong about that mention), and their previous weekend's nail-biter loss to Southern Miss already looks even worse than it already had.
