They are lobbying for predomimantly CAA playoff field already. Thet specifically said the CAA is the deepest conference in the FCS when clearly the record doesn't show it. Stick it up your ass Haley and the rest of the TSN homers

What are you talking about? They have 5 MVFC teams in and 3 CAA teams.

Good lord, he has 5 MVFC teams in his projected playoff field compared to 3 from the CAA. And he said the CAA is "perhaps" the deepest conference in America. Calm down and try to consume what you're reading before you start with the east coast bias rhetoric.

MVFC - 7
Big Sky - 3
CAA - 3
Southland - 3
OVC - 2
Big South - 1
MEAC - 1
NEC - 1
SoCon - 1
Patriot - 1
Pioneer - 1

I'm with you on that BattinRam. Once the MVFC battles have all been played out this season, there will be some awfully good 7-5 Valley teams that will be playoff eligible. I would put any of those 7-5 Valley teams against any of the 3rd place finishers in either the BSC, CAA or SLC.

This season the MVFC has got a shot to go 28-1 against FCS teams for a .966 winning percentage, and the Valley will have the top SOS of any FCS league. The numbers speak for themselves as to just how much MVFC teams have absolutely dominated in the non-con portion of the season. The Valley should legitimately have 7 teams by season end that could make the playoffs.

yeah, that is crap. The MVC deserves 8 and they should all be seeded.

How could they claim that the CAA has the deepest conference? I've seen their antics before. The just remove the mvfc teams come as off time and claim the CAA in conference wins are better than everyone else's in and out of conference wins. Wait and see. It is subliminal.

Must get an auto seed just for winning the Southland in their eyes.

i still doubt more than two valley team will be in. Any 7-5 team, of which there will be several, will stay home.

I wouldn't agree but I think there will be separation with the top 4 so it shouldn't matter

I have a tough time seeing anyone other than NDSU separating from the pack. SDSU, UNI, SIU, MSU ISU-r are all good. The others won't be easy outs.

NDSU
SDSU
UNI
SIU

I'm hoping my Bears can position themselves to be 5th in the pecking order in case they come calling.

I agree with everyone else. I'd put the Bears, ISU-R, and YSU, against anyone in that 15-24 range as well though.

October 4th can't get here fast enough

Guys, this is simple math. The CAA has more teams, as a conference has more teams, it must be deeper. That does NOT imply that they are the better conference. URI is surely deeper in the hole than any MVFC team...

Heck, Northern Iowa alone should get two bids.
