My take on week 1:

Eastern Kentucky at Robert Morris - New era for Bobby Mo, but they need to regain their mo-jo from earlier years (EKU +28)

Bryant at Stony Brook - Seawolves have too much talent for Bryant to make this much of a game (SBU +28)

Wagner at Georgetown - Not sure how good Wagner will be this year, but I like their odds opening vs. the Hoyas (WC + 7)

Duquesne at Buffalo - Love to see the Dukes scheduling a FBS team, but they take this one on the chin (UB +35)

CCSU at Towson - New coach at Central should put us on the right path; an upset is possible, but not likely (TU +21)

Marist at Sacred Heart - Not much of a contest for the Heart; SHU wins big at home (SHU +35)

St. Francis (PA) at Fordham - Might not be a close as last year, but I think the Frankies put up a fight (FU +24)

Eastern Kentucky - going to be a couple of years before RMU could compete in a game like this
Stony Brook - Bryant doesn't have the horses to stay with SBU
Wagner - not expecting much from the Hoyas
Buffalo - don't think they are going to overlook Duquesne
Towson - TU is a top FCS team even without West, CCSU with some rebuilding to do
Sacred Heart - expecting a lopsided win by the Pioneers
Fordham - the Rams are a Top 10 team in by book, SFPA overmatched here

A little late but Congratulations are in order to the Bryant Bulldogs on a good game Thursday night. Big thing for SBU that night was attendance at 10,252 a record for an opener and the 3rd highest crowd to fill our stadium. Bryant could have a great season in what might be a tough NEC with CCSU winning today over Towson.

Glad to be wrong. xdrunkyx

NEC vs.
CAA (2-0)
Pioneer (1-0)
Patriot (1-1)
OVC (0-1)
MAC-FBS (0-1)

CCSU and Bryant highlight a very successful week for the NEC.

Wagner and SHU took care of business, as predicted.

And Duquesne played really well against a FBS team.
