Deer hunting is the big killer. Season starts in early November. I'm praying to God that we see at least 11,000 for the Cal-Poly game on 11/11.

Deer hunting really gave us a beating last year when we only drew 10,809 for Northern Colorado. We recovered with a 15,777 showing for SDSU the next week.

Exactly. There are thousands of quote-unquote "Bison fans" who would rather get up at 5am on a Saturday morning in November and drive to New Rockford to fire a round in a buck's brain than wake up to go tailgating and watch the best football team in North Dakota. I don't even want to know what it might be like once we start hosting playoff games. It's really sad.

Just so you know, hunting is a religion even bigger than Catholic or Lutheran in this state.

The hunting thing sickens me as well.

On another note, many of our starters did not even play a snap during the game (some minor injuries some just because). Joe mays was in on a few snaps with a minor groin injury. Post game interview indicates he is VERY pumped to introduce himself to the Gophers.
