Once again, here are the games rated as the top 5 games of the week at i-aa.org for week 7 of the 2006 season. Knowing what we now know, is one of these still considered the best game, or has another game surpassed these in importance?

Week 7
1. 21.44% 10/14 James Madison @ New Hampshire
2. 12.49% 10/14 Texas State @ McNeese State
3. 8.73% 10/14 Southern Illinois @ Illinois State
4. 6.96% 10/14 Northern Arizona @ Montana
5. 6.19% 10/14 Wofford @ Appalachian State

I still say it should be James Madison at New Hampshire. I would say that the number two is now Southern Illinois at Illinois State.

Let's see who's Lincoln's best. I love it. SIU vs. ISU

I went with SIU/ISU...but UNH/JMU is an extremely close 2nd...how about 1A and 1B...

Despite my bias, I went with SIU-Ill St because it's two top ten teams.

1 person did vote for that, and although I didn't expect it to win, it is a big game out west. If the Cats win, they still have an outside shot at an at large bid, and the conference title is still within their reach. If they lose, they are pretty much out of an at large bid, and the conference crown will be much more elusive.

My East Coast bias had me voting for SIU - Illinois St... should be a dandy... UNH recieves too much attention and the former matchup will do much more to decide the Gateway than the later will the A10.

Il St-SIU by far. 2 top 10 teams should always be the top game to watch. JMU-UNH is obviously more important to the A-10.

Wouldn't it be odd if JMU wins the A10 by beating UNH this Saturday and the SIU-ISU game having no outcome in the Gateway?

Southern University and Jackson State gets my vote. Over 60,000 for a non-classic SWAC matchup.

Thanks...many more where that came from!:rotateh: I wish that they would add a band board on here...we are just as important as the team...at least at the games!

You should start a "post your band pics" thread, like the ones we already have for stadiums and uniforms. There are some great bands in I-AA, including three that have won the Sudler Trophy (FAMU, JMU, and UMass), and I'd love to see some more pictures--especially of those HBCU bands!
