God damit. I can't believe we lost by a defensive 2-pointer AGAIN.

But the fact that we lost to a big south team is just ridiculous. Sorrells filled in pretty well at QB, but hopefully Gray will be back soon, so we can run our normal offense.

I was exhausted by the end of the game.. not to mention a wee bit ... nah make that a whole lot tipsy... Glad I made it home.. Thought there was a 'check point' on 707, but only a guy getting a ticket... got home and went to bed.

Wow... now this morning kind of reliving the game, I am still thrilled. What a great win. I hated the cop-out the refs took at the end though.

I think we can play with anybody, but that doesn't mean we will. Guess that's why this place is called... Any Given Saturday !!!!!

I agree... I think Coastal has potential to be a dangerous team, but it seems like we play the level of our competition. So many times we have gone in with "big heads" and then end up blowing games we probably should have won.:bang: Last night... the Chants KNEWWW Furman would be tough, so Coastal played tough and came out with the victory. :nod: All i'm sayin is that I wish Coastal would go into ALL games with that mindset and play every game as if all teams were as good as Furman. :o
Anyway... the game was a blast last night and i'm so proud of CCU! Great GAME!!! :hurray: :hurray: :hurray:

Congrats to Coastal. It was an exciting game. The game basically came down to CCU making one more play than FU. Everything seemed to being going against us tonight with all the stuff leading up to the game, and it didn't hurt CCU played a great game. CCU should be very thankful they have Thigpen and Simpson. Those guys were the difference last night.

I have said it on other threads and I might as well say it on this one.

Great Game. The school has created a very good atmostphere. Good fans, and facilities. the whole experience but the final score was a positive.

CCU outplayed us and out coached us. We are still not good at defending the pass and CCU gets credit for that. ( Unfortunately we may have that problem a few more times)

D stepped it up a few times in the second half but the honest truth is we could have been way behind at halftime. We were fortunate that it was 14-14

All in all good

Great game, good sportsmanship except the annoying lady behind me on the visitor stands who screamed and swore every play.

Felton was a beast but I was happy, ingeneral in how the d played.

My friend asked who was good i told her a bout felton and how he never loses yards or gets 0 yards and when ccu stuffed him on the first play she said "I thougth you said he was good". xlolx
