That is a lot of fans during "pretty tree" season

Good choice for new members there, Big Sky.

Good choice for new members there, Big Sky. :thumbsup:Ouch. And this was the game the BSC game Altitude chose to feature today. I switched over for just a few minutes during the Griz game, and they were finishing an interview with Doug Fullerton (BSC commissioner) who was at the game. I wonder what his thoughts were about the attendance for this Altitude featured matchup?

UNC does have a good football tradition, and I know I have been hard on them and the BSC, but I really would have thought, despite all the issues with UNC this year that they would have made a special effort to prove they belonged in the BSC support wise.

Do you think if NDSU was accepted in the Big Sky, and were hosting Idaho State this week, that the attendance would be less than 3,000??

Higher.

4,000??

Higher.

5,000??

Go WAY higher.

10,000??

MORE HIGHER!!

15,000??

I'd say at least 15,000 would show up at the Dome.

hope UNC turns it around as well- they used to sell out their games in DII... but then again they were winning at the time

13,721 at the SIU-WIU game. If the crowds were much bigger, I'm not sure our crumbling old stadium could take it.

There were 2,147 in attendance at Georgetown for Lehigh, and, I swear, Lehigh had more people in the stands than Georgetown. The visitors side seats 2,000 and it was well more than half filled with the home stands barely one-third filled. I saw lots of students walking from their dorms and surrounding building and going by the stadium with barely a passing interest in what was happening. I find this disconcerting if GU is seriously interested in upgrading the stadium. Hard to justify if they can't come close to pulling their own students into the game when it's right outside their doors...: smh :

Long weekend (columbis day) at G'town?

maybe the students were gone?

Husky Alum

Northeastern had a similar problem - about 3,200 fans at Parsons - about 1/4 were Delaware fans.

The student turnout was negligible. Given that we usually get 1,000 students, and most of our regular tailgate crew wasn't there, it was actually a better than expected crowd.

Homecoming should be a good crowd for UNH - it wouldn't surprise me if we had something close to a sell out. I'd expect UNH to bring a ton of fans, and we usually draw about 5,000 for homecoming regardless.

I believe someone already posted this, but...

Coastal Carolina set a new attendance records vs. Furman this weekend, with 10,013 fans attending. This was also CCU's "Family Weekend" (basically "Parents' Weekend").

I don't think that the Bisonator is talking smack.

I've been to Fargo and the Fargodome for a game. These folks LOVE their football.

The tradition and pride they have in their program is as strong as any I've seen in the A-10. They also throw a tailgate that's pretty darn good and are as hospitable a bunch as I've encountered.

I'm thinking if they played Sisters of the Poor (wasn't that your opening week opponent, Bisonator?), they'd draw 15K at the Fargodome.

What he's saying is that the BSC may have made a decision that they regret because of their reasons for not extending an invite to the Bison. Now is he pounding his chest to do it, probably, but I've seen worse on the main boards.

8,411 on hand to watch Nicholls State/Southeastern Louisiana last night. The largest home crowd of the three home games thus far in 2006.

66% of capacity for the night.

Don't Southern and Jackson normally get more fans than that.. especially against decent teams?
