Most combined FB titles in one game?

This was first posted by someone else on bisonville. However NDSU and Georgia Southern have combined for 14 national titles in FB (GSU 6 in I-AA, NDSU 3 in "College Division" 5 in DII).

Has there been a game before featuring teams with more combined NC's (regardless of level)?

Depending on the way you count them every game that Princeton or Yale plays.

I was thinking if Mount Union ever met St. John's (MN), but the St. John's web site says the two have never met.

Of course, that's not counting the pre-1920 Ivy national titles. Harvard, Yale, and Princeton won a combined 24 titles.
