The box score on espn shows a final score of 73-13 but nothing for the 4th quarter. Just wondering if the game was called early due to the point spread.

Look at the passing comparison...

CCSU was 6-7 for 105 yards...

St Pete's was 34-55 with two INTs and 390 yards...

If you read that, you'd think CCSU was stomped...

Oh wait, they outrushed StPete's 372 to -3, a spread of 375 yards!

Of course, when your getting beat so bad, you got to air it out, I guess...

It's a good thing only 560 fans were on hand to watch that disaster.

I've seen all sorts of weird glitches in ESPN.com box scores. Not sure why, but it happens.

Nope, he wasn't kidding. Look at the line right before the box score on the link aceinthehole posted. Yikes.

BDK@YSU,
What exactely am I looking at in your avatar? I would think there is a story behind a painted rock in water, maybe a fountain? or maybe a frat stunt? Just curious.

It's a rock in the middle of campus. It's actually in a mulch bed. A group of us painted the rock to look like a YSU football helmet the Thursday night before the YSU @ Penn State game at about 10 p.m. It was painted with frat stuff, which had actually been painted on it that night, until we took it over.

A Top 25 team can't even draw 1000 fans? Crikey...

As sad as that is, I'd guess almost all of those fans were probably brought by CCSU.

St. Peter's doesn't support their program at all. They play in a municipal stadium off campus and are winless this season - what do you expect?

This is a team CCSU will never schedule again! I'm not sure how much longer the Peacock (and a few other MAAC team) will field a football team. Its a shame, but its the reality of the situation that many of these small enrollment private schools can't support football at the Division I-AA level. The MAAC might not even be back next year!
