First the Aggies defeat Appy State, now they beat Elon.

Will they be ranked in the top 25 now??

Definitely top 30. I don't know if I'd put them top 25 since both Elon and Appy are both question marks in the socon. Definitely have my eye on them though.

No worries yet RA. A&T continues to take care of business they will be ranked soon enough. Rankings mean little in the grand scheme of things, we need teams who can ADVANCE in the FCS playoffs, looks like we have two now.

Definitely top 30. I don't know if I'd put them top 25 since both Elon and Appy are both question marks in the socon. Definitely have my eye on them though.

A&T and B-CU should be ranked. Good representation for the FCS and the MEAC conference.

I thought "Appy" was common FCS abbrev for Appalachian.

Why do you find "Appy" offensive?

App and Elon have a combined grand total of 0 D-I wins. It's hard to tell how good A&T really is, but a spot in the 25-30 range may be appropriate. Beating the Mountain Men is an accomplishment, beating Elon is not.

So far the Elon/App/Georgia Southern farwell tour is going better than expected. Between the three of them they have wins over West Virginia Wesleyan, Savannah State, and St. Francis.

With that being said, no one can tell how good these wins will be in the grand scheme of things...I think if A&T beats Howard then heading into the ATL Classic against SCSU they should definitely be Top 25. But thats just my guess.

Beating Elon alone is not impressive, but it is considering they didn't allow a letdown after beating App.

If it wasn't for that sloppy play, we could've dropped another 2 touchdowns on the Fighting Christians. Next up for the Aggies is Howard on ESPNU, Thursday, September 26th.

Ranked? Yes. (Same with Fordham after their big win yesterday) They'd be top 25, maybe top 20 but they aren't quite a top 10 team yet....or top 15 really.

A&T plays my Howard Bison on Thursday night. The contest will be shown on ESPNU at 7:30pm. This will give you all a good look at the Aggies, and my Bison.

Sure, the term "Appy" was used a term of derision by the Thundering Turd during their SoCon days. Most SoCon fans that use the term do so with a negative connotation. In reality, it's not that big of a deal, but it does make a lot of App fans' skin crawl.
