Coach Mangurian on Watson: Quick, explosive, excellent long speed. More of a skater, never has his feet to far off the ground, always moving forward, does not stutter. Good vision and patience, excels at running “gap” type plays. Tremendous confidence in his quickness and burst, sees it and hits it. Didn’t see any pass protection, but he will have to learn. Confirmed speed, still young. Big time production. Can catch the ball out of the backfield. Will create competition for the playing time. Return ability adds value.
