Coach Mangurian on Wells Childress: Size, strength and athletic ability. Equal contributor in the four-man rotation at defensive tackle. Needs more consistency in his game, work on blocking scheme recognition and getting off blocks. Good range and pursuit. Can, and does push the pocket. Unselfish and hard working. Has had a good off-season. Still improving.

2011: Played in five games ... totaled 5 tackles and one sack ... best game was against Brown during the goalline stand in the second overtime, made the tackle on fourth and one to give Columbia the win on senior day.

Transferred to Columbia in 2011.

At Texas A&M: Took a redshirt year as a freshman in 2009.

Elected team captain as a senior, he was twice named the team;s Offensive Lineman of the Year. As a junior, Emanuels was named honorable mention all-county. The three-year letter winner on the gridiron played on both lines and also earned a varsity letter in basketball.
