I'll be there! I'll be the one wearing purple! :smiley_wi

A lot of people are going down to Boone from JMU but we will be mild after almost losing to Bloomsburg.

I hope your friend is correct! 30,000 for this game would be awesome as long as JMU actually shows up to play football this weekend.

I will be there. Ill probably be sitting in the grass with some friends on the other end of the stadium. The student section is too crazy for me!

I heard the same thing from a Charlotte alumni official who has been pretty accurate at these estimates.

BTW, isn't there a point at which we're not allowed to let any more people in?

What is the "official" stadium capacity of The Rock?

I think there is seating for 16,000.

16,650. But enough temps are being brought in for a thousand or so additional.
25K fit in last year for WCU in KBS without the temps.

What is the "official" stadium capacity of The Rock?

It's listed this year at 17,150, but last year's WCU game had 25,584. I have no idea how they'll squeese another 4,416 for an even 30,000. :eyebrow: Glad I already have a seat.

I figure theres gotta be a maximum number allowed....not quite sure what that would be.....ha if we can pack more than was in there against Western last year, then thats gotta be getting close. Although, i have heard David Jackson, who is one of the assistant athletic directors throw the 30,000 number out there, so who knows.

It's not like getting 30k people in there is dangerous.

Uncomfortable perhaps? Maybe.

Dangerous? Hmm. Hopefully not, but I'd hate to see much of that crowd storm the field if something mega controversial occurred. Among my worst fears, I can think of several scenarios that have occurred other places for other teams.

Uncomfortable? Waiting in a long line 15 monutes after tailgating for 3 hours for a portajon is not exactly relaxing. lol

yes, probably uncomfortable, but i love it......the more, the marrier in my opinion, dont wanna send anybody that wants to support ASU away.

Thats the biggest problem with ASU, when are they gonna upgrade the bathrooms, or should I say *INSTALL the bathrooms?

GSU has had them for awhile and they are starting to look kinda bad and were upgrading them next off season ASU needs to catch up :D

ASU has lots of bathroom space, just not too convenient for the visitors side. I've been going to lotta ASU games for a lotta years and have NEVER had to use the portajons. But I either sit on the West side where there's quite a few or walk to the end of the endzone to the brick building or to the restrooms on the West side.
It's well worth it as it puts me in range of ordering a Woodland's BBQ after wards.
