Portland State freshman running back Steven Long had surgery on Sunday at Oregon Health Sciences University. A non-cancerous growth was removed from his brain and he is expected to make a full recovery. Meanwhile, four former Portland State Vikings will have a chance with NFL teams this spring. Although no Vikings were drafted in last weekend's NFL Draft, opportunity still abounds.
