Tribe held up pretty well in this one. Young defenders got burned for some big plays, but got better as the game went on. Maryland looks pretty good. Their LBs and secondary were impressive.
Tribe O took awhile to get going. Plusses were o-line, receivers (after a couple of early drops) and both QBs (although Potts missed a wide open Elliott Mack for a TD from the Maryland 24 with a minute left that would have pulled the Tribe within 6). No turnovers for W&M, and they produced four.
Star for the Tribe D was safety Kevin Allen, who had multiple tackles for loss, a couple of breakups, and an int.
