Demons hold Jayhawks on first offensive series, then march down and kick a field goal. Northwestern St. 3-0 over Kansas in the 1st.

Demons intercept on a long drive by the Jayhawks. In the middle of the 2nd, Kansas has 12 carries for -2 yards.

Special teams again. Kansas blocked Demon punt in the end zone for a TD, now lead 21-6 with 8:20 left in the 2nd. Take out special teams both ways and it's a 0-0 game.

Demons take the second half kickoff down and kick a field goal. Now KU 28, Demons 9. Demons lead in offensive yards 128 to 99 for KU. Take away the Demon special team disasters, and this game would be very interesting.

I have some friends close to the Kansas program. They say their program is on the rise in I-A. You guys did okay against them. The Demons will improve and be a force come conference time.
