Athens — Mark Richt doesn't care if Western Kentucky is a Division I-AA or I-A program, and he's about ready to jump down the throat of anyone who does.
"We are going to play as hard as we can. And if they don't, we will take their [butt] out of the game," the Georgia coach said in an un-Richt-like tone. "That is all there is to that."
Like Richt, the computers in the Bowl Championship Series formula don't seem to care much that Georgia's season-opening opponent plays at the I-AA level.
Even though several of those computers give a lot of weight to the strength of schedule factor, the men who run them say playing a lower-level team won't come back to haunt the Bulldogs later this season when the BCS standings are calculated. ...
