The Greeley Tribune today reported Andy Birkel, All Big Sky Wide REciever will not be playing against UC-Davis on Saturday. This is a huge blow to the offense because Andy is our best wide reciever and we are already struggling with depth at the position. Back up QB T.J. Swanson will probably replace him in the starting lineup. DANG!

We really need a strong effort running the ball on Saturday. Our passing game is all kinds of shaky at this moment.

I don't think the running game will be a problem, that's our strength. T.J. Swanson is a good athlete, but he's a qb for a reason and not a wideout.

Nice we'll be able to focus more on stopping the run - it'll be a good test for the new LB's. We've been really lucky not having any major injuries so far - we should be at full strength and ready to rock

Bummer...last year's game was the Birkel and Kays show.

Our running game is going to be a good test for your defense. If you stop Andre, then we'll throw you a little Patrick Ealy at you. Also, we've got a 6-5" 250lb qb that can run and steam roll dbs.
