Apparently concerned that the Plano convention center wouldn't be able to hold all the Bison fans, NDSU changed the venue for it's Friday night party to a local baseball stadium.

It was asked by someone on another thread. I still had the old information. We literally overran the Marriot last year and drank them dry. This is a pretty big deal for them.

Anyways the game will be exciting, where is the Bison pre party what are yalls plans

I don't understand you guys little man syndrome. If there's a chance to beat your chest, by gawd y'all will do it. Why would ALL of FCS care that you guys are renting out a baseball stadium? You're just ****tin' up board space. This is a great thread for Bisonville or wherever else y'all hang out.

Here's a thought then if that's really the case, don't post in this thread. If no one truly cares about it like you would like to believe so much it'll disappear off the first page in no time.

It's the definition of irony for you to say someone else is "****tin' up board space".

Do you know of any other school that had to rent a stadium because their fans travel so well? FYI we got pretty tired of the cat fans telling how great they were last year. Even with that they still didnt have to rent a stadium even though you were only 3 hours from the school and the game is in its home state.

THE OLD YANKEE LIBERAL NARRATIVE ABOUT THE SOUTH IS BEING SHOWN TO BE FALSE.

In a few weeks, when the new Congress convenes, Mr. Scott, 47, will take his place as the first black senator from a Confederate State since Reconstruction. This will make it exceedingly difficult for liberals to maintain their stereotype of the South as a land teeming with white racists. "If that were true," he says, "how could I have been elected to Congress in a district that is 70% white?" He adds: "I have campaigned all over the state of South Carolina. It is the friendliest state in the country. And truly here people judge you by the content of your character not the color of your skin."

We didn't have to rent any space because the First Tennesee Pavilion is right outside the stadium but 2005-2007 were pretty special for Appalachian fans. Over 20K at every game, all but a couple thousand of which were in black and gold.

A very impressive showing by NDSU. Regardless of the outcome, it is a great time to be a Bison fan. Enjoy it!

Thanks and I understand your thoughts on how special it was for your fans as well. The Bison Nation appreciates fan bases who travel and supports their teams. There is always some tool who tries to put down what they do not have. Its the championship game. Only two teams are in it. Whats not to like about that? Nothing the matter with being loud and proud at this juncture. As long as its in good taste.

The city of Fargo isn't a testicle hair compared to either of these. I'm also within a 3-4 hour drive to Austin, DFW, Beaches, SA, Louisiana Casinos etc. Fargo is what 4 hours from Minneapolis? That's about it. I'm sure there are endless outdoor type things to do in ND but that is no different in Texas, only we have relevant cities in between.

In Fargo, you don't have to drive an hour to get to anything, it's right there. This is like the GSU fans letting us Statesboro is so much better. Saying you're in a better place because you can drive to a better place is not that great.

I've had two friends from Fargo, one a nurse that traveled around to other hospitals and one a veteran I met through a veteran childhood friend. They both would never stop talking about how boring Fargo was. I trust them, so saying everything is right here isn't very accurate. Quick, name me 5 fun things to do in Fargo. Also by the time you warm up your car and get the windshield unfrozen, I'm in shirts eating on some nice patio in The Woodlands.

no. it just shows what kind of parent you REALLY are. It sets a FINE example for children to not only see their father COMPLETELY EMASCULATED on a daily basis but to also hear 'him' shout gutter profanity in a public place with them present. yankee coarseness and lack of proper home training is ruining the culture.

The culture of patriarchy perpetuated by the female subclass that "knows their place"?

This is stupid. This whole thing ****s up yet another thread to which you have contributed NO value. You choose to continue to baselessly insult me and someday I will choose not to participate. Good job trollbaiting me yet again.

I'd tell you to go **** yourself in the front row of your church with your grandmother present, you know why? Because you deserve it.

I think its a great thing that so many SD fans will be attending the game. FCS needs more of this kind of support for the FCS National Championship!

yes knowing that their place is wherever their talent takes them.

it is only stupid because you chose to attempt to defend what you know to be vulgar, poltroon like behavior from your people at football games and act like I am the problem by pointing out that fact.

you're the one who proudly proclaimed that you wear the apron rather than the pants around your house. I am guessing you expected to be celebrated as a hero like you are accustomed to at your democratic party meetings and faculty mixers. It must be a shock to hear WHAT EVEN THOSE LIMPWRISTED lefties who you probably consider friends ACTUALLY THINK AND SAY about you when you're JUST out of earshot. You know how when you walk up to these 'friends' of yours at parties and their ALWAYS snickering and laughing UNTIL you walk up? Yeah...... their laughing at YOU big guy!

ps as for the comment about my family and my religion? if you were my social equal you would have received this.

The city of Huntsville I admit isn't much to right home about, but I am right next to a huge National Forrest, downtown Houston is an a hour away and The Woodlands only minutes. The city of Fargo isn't a testicle hair compared to either of these. I'm also within a 3-4 hour drive to Austin, DFW, Beaches, SA, Louisiana Casinos etc. Fargo is what 4 hours from Minneapolis? That's about it. I'm sure there are endless outdoor type things to do in ND but that is no different in Texas, only we have relevant cities in between.

edit- and were not blanketed in snow half of the year.
fargo is literally 30 minutes from the heart of minnesota lake country, which trumps all that crap. Fargo today is vastly superior to fargo or ten years ago.

It snows, every other year. Enough to have a little fun every once in a while but not enough to be a daily inconvenience.

Even though Im sure you are trying to be funny, I have to say that to an area where it doesnt snow that much, they dont have the capability to prepare and clear the roads and so it can be quite an inconvenience

I can see that would be an inconvenience.

If you grew up with snow and are prepared, it isn't that big of a deal though. In fact, partying in an outdoor baseball stadium with temps. in the 40's-50's will seem tropical compared to the temps. N.D. will have! It should be a great night! Hopefully, no rain. That would be inconvenient! :)

Well said on this. I will turn 41 on the 4th of Jan and my definition of fun is not the same as a 20 something. But I guess it also depends on what you are into.

This is accurate according to a few friends. One played hockey in Tulsa and at the time he said there were 7 snow plows for the city. My hometown of 8k had more than this. My friend who lives in Seattle didn't work for 7 days when they had a massive snowstorm. In ND it is unlikely that anything here would be canceled as we are used to and prepared for these situations. Im fairly sure everyone in georgia would be more prepared than we are for hurricanes in ND. Everyone is better prepared for "normalcies" of weather in their own region.

Similar to why everyone lives where they live.

A 4.5 hour drive from Boone to Chattanooga is way easier than a 15.5 hour drive from Fargo to Frisco. Since NDSU fans bought lots of tickets in November, I expect it to be about 70% NDSU fans instead of the 55% (roughly) it was last year.

Enjoy it!

And on top of all that Huntsville is a small college and prison town. Neither myself or 95% of it's graduates will live in Huntsville upon graduation. Fargo is it as far as ND goes.

never been to huntsville but i enjoyed texas when i was there last year. i hate the constant penis size contest between teams cities. there may not be as much to do here as in other parts of the country but fargo isnt as bad as most people who have never been here think it is

Apparently concerned that the Plano convention center wouldn't be able to hold all the Bison fans, NDSU changed the venue for it's Friday night party to a local baseball stadium.
