One of the highlights was him getting through the secondary and being chased down from behind, only to fumble the ball.

I do like his height/size though. He just seems kind of slow compared to others on the field.

if he's big and durable enough he looks as if he could do well as a b-back in a triple option scheme.

Be careful here.

There are very strict rules around recruiting and school boosters.

Many of us on here are school boosters and don't know it. The term booster has a very broad definition.

No, I tell the waitress I don't need that booster seat anymore. I tell her I'm a grown-*** man and don't need any help reaching the table.

What is the issue in letting a coach know about player? Contacting the player is the only booster issue I know of...

I don't know all the rules, but I do know they are tricky and I recomend if there is any concern you contact your school's compliance officer before doing anything.

Why take the chance?

I have never met the kid.
It is legal to forward clippngs or highlights.
Rule #1: Only coaches and athletics department staff members can be involved in the recruiting process. All "athletic representatives" who are not employed by the school are prohibited from contacting a prospect or members of the prospect's family by telephone, letter or in person on or off campus for the purpose of encouraging participation in the University athletic programs.
Rule #3:PLEASE assist the coaching staff in the recruiting process by notifying them of any student you think would be a strong addition to the University athletics program. The coach can then make the appropriate contact with the prospect.
PLEASE send to the University coaching staff any information about prospects that you think would be of interest. Your assistance in this manner is very helpful. The coaching staff will then make contact with the prospect.

The "Hello" AT&T commercial is the perfect example of what Brad82 is talking about us doing and there had to be some NCAA approval in that commercial with OU gear and Coach Stoops in it. We forward a clip and let the coaching staff decide whether a recruiting call or trip is worthwhile.

Correct. All 'we' can do is pass along information to coaching staffs. We CANNOT contact prospective students or their parents/custodians.
