I went by Sams Club the other day. Almost everyone there was wearing Mustang gear.

I went to Frisco last year and I can tell you, they only have about 43 hardcore fans (which btw is 36 more than EWU).

My brother is dating a Sam Houston State alum (he lives in Sugarland, Tx.). He and SHE intend to go to the game wearing Cal Poly gear. I wish I was going, but I checked air fares to Houston and they wanted more than $600 round trip. I'll be connecting my laptop to the Big Screen and watching the game on ESPN3.

Happy to see everyone has a sense of humor! I'm a Cal Poly nut, but any and every FCS team has my respect. Unfortunately, the cost of my wife and I (she goes to all CP games with me) going to Huntsville would be a around $2,000 so I'm gonna have to watch on espn3. Dec 1st seems so far away!! Gooooooooooo.... Mustangs!

I'll bet Frisco will be less pleased with their extension if they get a EWU/ODU final. NDSU/SHSU was like the NCAA playing in a contract year.

Agree! Biggest challenge for FCS is always depth. Injuries have far more impact than they do at the FBS level, and this playoff will be extremely tough on players. Here's hoping all the players on all the teams stay healthy, and the best team wins! xbeerchugx

Yes, it's a different sport, but Poly is on a roll ... Cal Poly 70, UCLA 68 NCAAMB. Sam Houston State is next!

Good thing that's not a Mustang :) Sam can ride those English horses in to the ground for all I care... Mustangs are WILD!!!! Looking forward to a great game!
