We've got several about 6'6" and 315lbs but that seems to be about what they run on the OL at UCA. No one massive like the monster from Northwestern State! That has got to be unhealthy...fridge perry-esque!

The Fridge wasn't anywhere close to that big. Just about every college team in America these days has several players the size of William Perry.

Furman's has completely changed its strength and conditioning program since Steve Mannino arrived over a year ago. Furman is a leaner, more physically impressive team IMO.

Largest player on the team Joel Bell 6-7, 320 OT SO I would consider him lean.

Freaks:
Wallace Artis 6-5, 270 DE JR another lean player
Jerome Felton 6-0, 250+ FB JR Felton is just a bus
Renaldo Gray 6-0, 240 QB JR don't let the weight fool you, he zips and zags

At Cal Poly it would be:

#75 Daniel Bradley
6'4" 291, Jr OL

Cal Poly's tallest would be:

#11 Ramses Barden
6'6" 220, So WR

Cal Poly does not have a player on the team that is over 300 lbs.

The beloved William Perry! This rookie sensation came on by storm in the 1984-85 season. Nicknamed "The refrigerator" by his college teamates, Perry wasn't a sackmaster by any means. As a matter of fact, he never recorded more than 5.5 sacks (1991) during his tenure with the Bears. He was the ultimate run stopper. With his huge girth, (sometimes estimated at 350lbs.),

First time you reached 300 pounds?

A long, long time ago, probably when I was 20. At my peak for the Bears I was about 320 pounds, but I moved pretty quickly on my feet. If I didn't, then you can bet that Mike Ditka would have told me to do something about it. I might have put on a few pounds now I'm retired. In fact, I may have hit 400 at one stage, but who's counting?

Perry attended Clemson University and in 1985 was a first round draft pick for the Chicago Bears. He gained his unique nickname due to his considerable size—standing 6 ft 2 in (188 cm) tall and weighing as much as 370 lb. (168 kg), his stature quickly brought to mind notions of a walking refrigerator.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Perry_%28football_player%29

When Perry, known in his lighter days as the Refrigerator, tipped the scales last week at 377 pounds, a quarter of a quarterback or so over his ideal playing weight, the Chicago Bears promptly ordered him to a weight-loss clinic. The Bears, who acknowledged that Perry was being treated for an eating disorder, would not say which clinic

Not saying he didn't balloon up toward the end of his career and after, I'm saying he wasn't that big during his college career, nor during his prime with the Bears. He ate himself out of football...literally.

Frank is a big big big guy. He lived across the hall from me last year and was in my room a lot. Real nice guy. I'd like to see what Apted can do since he transferred from Utah, but I really wanna see Franklin play because he was a redshirt freshmen and he was supposed to have a medical redshirt last year since he got shot twice in the "leg area" but apparently got taken away since he's listed as a sophomore this year. I'd like to see what Frank's weight is like once he gets back into top shape though since he couldn't practice for the past year.
