ODU will be replacing ECU on The Citadel schedule next year and ODU will play ECU in El Cid's place.

Basically a 3 way trade to help fill ODU's 2013 football schedule.

Not really sure what the Citadel gets out of this? They lose a decent payday w/ ECU in exchange for an away game against a team that can only put 20k in the stands. Surely there must be more to it than this; very poorly explained article.

My guess is that they still get paid the same amount of money.
