#12 New Hampshire @ Rhode Island - 12 noon
- Pretty easy pick here
#25 Delaware @ #8 Old Dominion - 12 noon - NBC Sports Network
- UD seems to be bipolar this year, so my head has to over-rule my heart on this one
Maine @ William & Mary - 3:30 pm
- Seems like a toss-up, going with home field
Georgia State @ #10 James Madison - 3:30 pm
- Another easy one
Towson @ #18 Villanova - 3:30 pm - CSN-MA/TCN-P/CSN-NW (tape delay)
- Nova seems to have something working this year, knocks out Towson's playoff hopes

I'm not so confident they can beat Bye. That is a tough matchup for the Spiders :)

I agree with this...although I am hoping for the results to be much difference for all the 1 loss teams but UNH.

It's a given that only Rhode Island could lose to a bye week.

I keep forgetting that.

Any team that does what you guys did to us, matters to me. What a nightmare.

New Hampshire @ Rhode Island 48-13 URI is the worst team in all of the FCS.

Delaware @ Old Dominion 27-45 Matchups favor ODU and UD is beset with injuries. Porous UD pass defense vs ODU spread. Delaware has a solid but traditional running game. QB Donnelly is an efficient underneath passer but not a runner. If ODU plays big on the DL, then it should get more than enough chances to score.

Maine @ William & Mary 24-21 Tough one to call. This should be VERY close. I thnk it will come down to whether Caprio or Ortiz starts at QB for W&M. I am picking Maine based on Caprio being the starting QB.

Georgia State @ James Madison 9-43 Perfect timing for JMU to give it's freshman QB Birdsong some experience.

Towson @ Villanova 17-31 Lack of home attendance, T. West, Trevor and other players, Jesus, parents now invloved.....Towson is reeling under distractions this week that have now made their way into mainstream media. This could either bring them together as a team, or tear them to pieces.
Having an away game may actually be an advantage fo TU. Still, I think it's all too much given that this is a close matchup even under ideal circumstances.

The attendance should be pretty decent. The stadium will be about 90% full.

Yeah it is homecoming, and they're calling for good weather. Plus I'm sure Towson will bring a decent crowd being fairly close.

I hope so for them. The weather for the ODU game was great, and the playoff implications were huge.

The announced attendance at Unitas was 7,817, at least 1000 of whom were ODU fans.

I wouldn't count on that, they don't even bring a crowd to Newark...

Quite a bit different this time. In '03 Hurricane Isabel hit the week before the Maine game. Wide areas were still without power, and it was months before all the downed trees were cleared. Even so, the game could have been played. The game we shouldn't have played was Northeastern the previous week. Several team members were flooded out of their homes, and showed up to head for the plane on Friday with only the clothes on their backs.

Looks like "Sandy" will wait til Sunday or Monday to hit us hard. Forecast for game time is scattered showers, with winds at 20.
