..after this, can we have a subthread about who won between NDSU and UND in the poll battle?

Games:

NDSU at UNI
Montana at EWU
Cal-Poly at North Dakota

My pick as well but I voted for UM/EWU just to make it not such a landslide.

Three great choices for next weekend. I still had to go NDSU/UNI (and imagine it'll be a landslide in the voting), but love the other two games in the list too.

Good choices. I would have gone with NDSU-UNI except that the UNI-YSU game is the game of the week this week so I felt like we're getting some insight into the top of the MVFC this week (which will be further clarified by this game). UM-EWU should be good to start resolving the top of the Big Sky.

Since 1990, no team has more wins against Montana than Eastern Washington (7). Someone like Ursus could probably vouch for me a little better, but I know this is always a big game for Griz fans. This is not just another game on the conference schedule. It doesn't compare to the brawl, but it's definitely the second biggest rivalry for Montana fans.

Had to go with EWU-UM. Big rivalry, will do much to start painting a picture of the top of the league. If YSU beats UNI, as I think they will, the NDSU-UNI game has less significance.

Yeah, since Idaho left EWU definitely moved into #2 on the rivalry list. EWU sort of made us their main rival in the conference back in the early 90's and got us at homecoming in the final 52 seconds in 1992 and ever since then they've been a very big game. It got big enough in the mid 90's until early 2000's that EWU held the games in Joe Albi stadium to accomodate the fanbases.

Griz fans hold EWU in high regard every year now.
