How important is a market that doesn't support the team in that market?

Doesn't really matter if they have support or not, as long as they have a reason to tell the cable/satellite companies that they have a presence. Boston College, while better than Georgia State, doesn't exactly light a fire in most of the Boston area, nor does Temple in Philly, or Maryland in the DMV but they all get more money for having them in those areas.
