Gotta love them hometown boys, we need someone to replace local favorite Nick Marudas, who had an oustanding career as a LB for the Cats.

Fletcher is going to be another great Montana LB for us. Looking forward to seeing him on the all-big sky rosters for the next few years.

Welcome to the countdown, KK! Glad you've gotten active here.

D.J. has gotten a little bigger and is now pushing 180. I'm anxious to see his speed go to work this year, now that he has learned the position. Expect to see him returning kicks at some point.

2006 I-AA Linebacker of the Year

John Mohring
No. 47
Position LB
Height 6-1
Weight 212
CL-EXP Sr-3L
Hometown Naples, FL
Previous School Bishop Verot

Mohring enters his senior year as the only returning All-American on the roster… played part of last season with an injured shoulder… off-season surgery kept him out of spring contact drills… developed a reputation for his hard hitting and play-making ability… if he stays healthy could contend for additional national post-season honors, including the Buck Buchanan Award… on pace to rank among the Eagle career ‘Top 5’ leaders in tackles… part of an experienced linebacker corps where all three starters could be seniors…
