Albany vs. Colgate - A toss up, but I'll give the Danes the advantage at home.
Bryant vs. Marist - Bulldogs should start the season strong.
CCSU @ Stony Brook - I hate to say it, but Central takes this one on the chin.
Duquesne @ Old Dominion - Dukes will make this interesting and show up well.
Monmouth @ Lehigh - Both teams will have issues spreading their wings in the opener.
RMU @ North Dakota State - Won't be anything as close as their playoff game was.
Sacred Heart @ Morgan State - I think the Pioneers have more than enough to top the Bears.
SFPA @ James Madison - Won't be as close as the CCSU/JMU game last year.
Wagner @ Florida Atlantic [Friday Game] - I think FAU is awful and Wagner has a shot, but doesn't have the speed or depth.

ODU 42 Duquesne 27 - The Dukes put up a good fight but ODU has too many weapons

Albany vs. Colgate - I think Bryant wins this one at home
Bryant vs. Marist - I would be surprised/disappointed if Bryant didn't win this week 1 matchup.
CCSU @ Stony Brook - SBU should be a great time this year, I think they win this one by 2 TDs
Duquesne @ Old Dominion - I want to pick the Dukes (I may have even picked them in Clenz challenge), but I am going to go with ODU.
Monmouth @ Lehigh -I think Lehigh will be too much for Monmouth and wins without it every really being close
RMU @ North Dakota State - unfortunately a no-brainer of the week. NDSU wins big, although I think RMU will have a rebound year
Sacred Heart @ Morgan State - going to go with SHU on this. I think they surprise MSU on their home field and take the win
SFPA @ James Madison - JMU wins its opener, another no-brainer
Wagner @ Florida Atlantic [Friday Game] - I would love to see the upset, but I think FAU wins this one easily.

RMU @ North Dakota State- a 21-7 game at the half two turnovers and a three and out turns into a 42-7 game

I didn't get to watch the whole game because we left about 7 minutes into the third quarter. However, the backside pressure was killing the offense. Westerhaus had to roll out for every pass and it messed up the rhythm. Jordan Brown looked bad and had more rushes losing yards than gaining (at least until we left).

The defense was the biggest surprise in that with all those returning starters they looked bad. I do not know the exact percentage, but I would say close to 60% of Marist plays ended up being a breakdown by their OL and the QB ended up scrambling for a big gain.

Also, the good/bad of Coach Fine is he sticks to a plan, and he showed nothing different. Rush with Joordan Brown up the middle, roll out Westerhaus and throw to Jordan Harris. It was predictable, stoppable, and tough to watch.

I think with 4 new OLmen the team is really going to struggle most of the season. I thought with Westerhaus, Harris, Brown, Perry etc... the team could deal with the young OL, but it looks like the kids aren't mature enough to play strong as a unit.
