Singleton was expected to be a rising star at Ole Miss, but things weren't cutting out as smoothly as planned in the receiver slot. However, he was making a stronger mark as a kick returner. Then he was having a few academic concerns. JSU made it a priority that he's aware that JSU is about academics first, then football. Seems like everyone is on the same page and JSU already knows where they want him on the field to make an impact.

Singleton was a two-time Clarion-Ledger Metro Player of the Year as well as a member of the Dandy Dozen and a U.S. Army All-American. But he struggled to make an impact as a freshman last season after enrolling late, catching only two passes.
