West Georgia has commissioned a study to explore the possibility of playing football on the Division I level.

The Wolves are currently Division II and play in the Gulf South Conference, but have asked Collegiate Consulting to analyze playing on the FCS level. Moving football would require moving all sports to Division I...

Dropped by UWG practice this morning; there is a lot of talent on the field. Think some of the naysayers may be in for a surprise. Also toured new Athletic Building.... WOW!!! On par with any FCS facilities. I feel like Moses: I've the Promised Land.
