In light of the recent threads about great coaches of yester-year, from Eddie Robinson to Erk Russell to Roy Kidd, Columbia's legendary coach Larry McElreavy is somewhere on the list of all-time D-I coaches and I think it's time he gets his due. After perfecting his coaching acumen at New Haven, Coach McElreavy led Columbia onto the field a remarkable 60 times in just 3 seasons (counting the return to the field after halftime)!!!
