Lark Hebert coaches the linebackers and is also coordinator of the special teams.

The coach was a four year letterman for the Cowboys during his playing career, partici*pating as both an offensive and defensive lineman.

Hebert is now in his 10th year after coming aboard in 2002. During his tenure he has helped coach Roderick Royal to all-America honors and two other players- Trey Bennett and Allen Nelson - were first team all-SLC picks.

As a prep coach, Hebert served as head coach at Sulphur High, Beau Chene High and Elton High. Three times his teams won a district title and he compiled an overall 53-35 won-lost record. Twice his teams posted 10-2 marks, once at Elton and again at Sulphur, and he was named a district coach of the year (twice) and parish coach of the year.
