The 2012 edition of Lauren's First and Goal Football Camp featured a record 2,105 high school players at Lafayette's Metzgar Fields on Sunday, June 3. Thanks to those here who asked about the program and who supported this very worthy cause.

I attended the event with my son....it was fantastic. while it was nice to hear from Penn St's new coach (pictured aove) the real inspiration (for me anyway) in the coaching category is coach Loose. Just to deal with this devesating issue and then to turn it into such a positive and have the energy and enthusiasim he does is amazing.

You are spot on CFBfan. Congrats to Coach Loose. To watch the event from it's infancy, and to see where it has gone is fantastic. I too am the parent of a special needs child. While there are many challenges along the way, the inspiration these kids bestow upon you is immeasurable. Let's all keep this special little girl in our prayers......

Loretto, PA – Saint Francis University recently joined more than 280 other college coaches for the Lauren's First and Goal ninth annual football camp held on Sunday, June 3 at Lafayette College. A record 2,105 high school student-athletes attended this annual event, which is the primary fundraiser for Lauren's First and Goal Foundation.
