Pats! Not a NE fan, but they've needed a deep threat ever since Moss left, they have a history of molding players very well which is important for raw talent like BQ AND they have Tom throwing the ball. Perfect fit IMO.

Agreed. As much as I cannot stand Belichick and the Pats, there would be no better situation for Brian to step into. He would have a great chance to succeed in New England.

I had Quick go to the Pats late in the 1st round, but with the trade-up, I think he goes early 2nd.

That is great! Very excited for Brian and great exposure for Appalachian. He is a very talented kid, hopefully Sam Bradford stays healthy and he can excel in that offense.

He'll be covering Brian Quick a lot...in practice!

One thing is for certain: Jeff Fisher knows that there is talent at the FCS level. His son played there, and as the Titans' HD he drafted Marc Mariani out of Montana a couple of years ago, who then went on to have a Pro Bowl returner year.

Not to mention that ex-Griz Chase Reynolds, who many of you App State faithful will ruefully remember, is on the Rams' practice squad.

It's a small football world out there.

Good to see Quick and TJ both go to the Rams, especially being a Missouri boy by birth. TJ was widely thought to be the highest FCS prospect by the experts - can any of our App faithful talk about how Quick improved his desirability? Really good camps or, as Crunchgriz says, is it a faith by the Rams coaches in FCS talent?

The story in the St. Louis paper was that they brought him in for a private workout last week, and that was what convinced Fisher and the GM.
