Interesting to see that there were 2 JMU players on the list in Kevin Winston and Tony Lezotte. If some of the other guys on the defense can step up, we may be better than the last 2 years.

and if I remember GSU got mentioned not once :(

now that we have a conventional O I expect that to change next season.

The Pards have two on Lindy's list... OL Mike St. Germain is a 1st-Team All-American, and DL Marvin Snipes is on the 2nd-Team All-American list.

He also ranked us #12 in the preseason poll.. ugh.. :nono:

Tony Kays, snubbed again. Where is Lindy's on this one. Kays lead the entire nation in pass receptions.

Only one Cal Poly defensive player? By the seasons end I think that Cal Poly will have up to four. The other three will be LB Kyle Shotwell (158 tackles), Courtney Brown (7 Int.) and Kenny Chicoine (5 Int. in 2005 and 7 Int. in 2004).

How does Harvard's Clifton Dawson go from last year's preseason I-AA player of the year to not even making 2nd team on this guy's list?

Easy. A 'bad' year of only 1,139 yards rushing (113.9 ypg) and 11 TDs. Jordan Scott had that beat with 1,364 yards rushing (124 ypg) and 10 TDs - and he didn't start until the Cornell game.

Agreed thats a joke of a Preseason all american team.

How does the nations leading tackler not make it and then how does a guy coming off of 7 int and about 14 PBU's not make i bet none of the guys on the list have numbers like that. But all will change once the season is played

Lindy's rankings are BS. He ranked Lehigh #1 in 2002. Heck, we are 12 this year.. and I remember scoffing at them one reason or another each year.

How the hell are John Mohring and Jayson Foster not on this list? Foster will take at least 3 kicks to the house this year, and score a ton at WR/RB/QB.

Hey chicken boy, I said "up to". BTW I am a fan, you bet I have illusions o' grander. All three have already made at least one I-AA All-American team in the last two years so I do not think it is to big of a stretch to think they might be All-Americans next year.

Hey MR. Chicken, you said I had Illusions O' Grandeur for the above post. Well Matt Dougherty seems to think all four have a chance. He included all four in his positional rankings.

DT #2 Chris White
CB #2 Courtney Brown
LB #5 Kyle Shotwell
S #6 Kenny Chicione
