Anyone have a link to this years 2012 FCS football team's returning starters? I'm starting to update my power rankings for FBS teams for the upcoming season and was hoping to do the same with FCS teams. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Are you saying that you expect to find a site where all FCS returning starters by team are listed with just one click? Nothing surprises me anymore, but that would. I'm betting that you will be dependent on the kindness of strangers who post to this site, and then will have to peck school by school for the missing pieces.

Taking a shot that this is the way it's going to go, here is a Q&D for Lafayette College in Easton, PA:

QB: Andrew Shoop, Sr.

Tailback: Ross Scheuerman, Soph.

Fullback/H-Back: Greg Kessel, Jr.

WR: Mark Ross, Jr.

OL: Luke Chiarolanzio, Soph.; Brad Borman, Jr.; Pat Crosby, Jr.

DL: Darius Glover, Jr.; Tahir Basil, Sr.; Jason Marshalek, Sr.; Rick Lyster, Sr.

LB: None

DB: Darius Safford, Sr.; Kyni Scott, Sr.; Shane Black, Soph.

P: Ethan Swerdlow, Sr.

PK: None

Summary: 7 on offense; 7 on defense.

Not all of these guys started every game and maybe they didn't start the final game, but they were starters at one time or another during 2011.

Yes. Someone sent me a link or a PM last year, on this forum or on the championship sub division forum, with all of the FCS schools and their returning starter. I'll try and find the spreadsheet I copied it to. Thanks for the information on Lafayette College, I appreciate it. I'll update them.

Not a starter although he did start one last year, but the leading rusher is returning Sam Ojuri.

Bruhn also started 5 last year at TE

Also Jesse Hinz started at center in 10 and is scheduled to be the right tackle at this point.

These lists are always tough. I'd probably add RB Keith Sherman and i believe Tom Bianchi started more than a couple times last year as well.

Any word on how Barket's injury is progressing? If he's ready to go for the season Lehigh will have one the top RB combos in the country imo.

As others have noted, defining starter is not easy. However, based upon the 2011 two deep list and the 2012 list, UNH has 7 offensive starters, 7 defensive starters, and their place kicker returning:

Joey Orlando, WR
Seamus O'Neill, LT
Chris Zarkoskie, LG
Mike Coccia, C
Ricky Archer, RG
Mickey DeLima, RT
Dontra Peters, RB

Manny Assam, SS
Jared Smith, DT
Sean McCann, DT
Alan Buzbee, LB
Matt Evans, LB
Chris Beringer, FS
Chris Houston, CB

Mike McArthur, PK

Throw in a couple of experineced running backs, a strong corps of returning wide receivers, and last year's #2 tight end who started several games and you have a pretty impressive line up.

Also, Utt and Ruley on OL both started a few and got significant PT. Andy calls it 13 R starteres . According to ZB's tweet ankle doing very well. S/b OK for Fall practice

Yes, with the way the DL platoons, could have added Verderame. Likewise, a number of 2 deep LBs got considerable playing time last year also. did not list Sherman, since Barket was really the starter and did not see value in listing 2 starting RBs, when really only one can start.

A few players I will mention who will be returning. No more then 3 total seniors from each position so we will be in GREAT shape this year.

QB - Dray Joseph, and JP Douglas
RB - Sylvester Nyzekwe
WR - Mike Berry, Lee Doss, Charles Hawkins
OL - Chris Browne, Zach Brown, Aaron Hall and Taylon Jones
TE - Kesean Peterson

DB - Virgil Williams, D'Mekus Cook, Levi Jackson. (((((Nickel Back - Lamarkius Pettaway)))))
LB - Anthony Balancier, Corry Roy
DL - Jaylon Jordan, Jeffrey Watkins (Most of our ends were freshman but we had 3 graduates and 2 were starters
DT - Brandon Turner and Casey Narcisse

Kickers - 2 kickers return and we recruited 1. We switched kickers because we had no success getting field goals and struggled with XPs and we loss 3 games because of it.

Overall the core of our team is back and I hope that our 2nd half adjustments are a lot better this year because that was another thing that did us in.

Bryant returns 10

Bryant will welcome 10 starters back in 2012, including Northeast Conference Offensive Player of the Year Jordan Brown (Glastonbury, Conn.). Brown led the country in rushing last fall with 1,815 yards and finished ninth in Walter Payton Award voting. He'll be joined on offense by electric wide receiver Jordan Harris (Lincoln, University, Pa.), a first team all-conference selection last year. In just his second season with the Black and Gold, Harris set a program records in receiving yards (959) and touchdown receptions (9). He finished his sophomore season with a touchdown grab in each of the last eight games.

On defense, the Bulldogs return three juniors in their secondary in Jeremy Woodson (Houston, Texas), Michael Johnson (New Market, Md.) and Max Machado (Berekeley Heights, N.J.). Woodson was a Second Team All-NEC selection last fall, Johnson broke up nine passes and Machado finished third on the team with 77 tackles and led the team in interceptions with three.
