Ohio St AD: "Definitely will play YSU"

Still no date, but the Buckeyes boss still says YSU will get on the schedule...

The Buckeyes have an open date remaining for 2007 (Sept. 1) and 2008 (Aug. 30). OSU has a tentative opponent set for Sept. 20, 2008, but is not ready to announce that.

Smith said OSU definitely will play Division I-AA school Youngstown State, but no date has been set.

JT was on the local news here a few weeks ago and said just that. He went on to say that OSU was in the process to finalize their future schedules and that you will definitely see YSU on there. I've read the payday for YSU will be 500K.

They just announced yesterday that OSU will play Toledo at Cleveland Browns stadium in 2009 so that tells me they are getting close to announcing the YSU-OSU matchup.
