I was shocked to hear this - David Lang attended NAU same time I did - and from all reports, a great guy. A good friend of mine played football at NAU, and had his career accidently ended by Lang - he was tacking Lang during practice, and Lang's helmet hit him in the side of the helmet, fracturing his occipital (eye) bone. David felt horrible about that, and spent a lot of time checking up on my friend making sure he was ok.

Very sad indeed.
