What I-AA Stadiums have you been to?

Other than seeing your favorite I-AA team play at home, what other I-AA stadiums have you been too? As sad and pathetic as this is the only other stadium I've been to is when Umass played at Boston University when they were still part of the Yankee Conference. But I hope that changes this year, I'm going to try and make it to either Colgate or Delaware.

Lehigh (Taylor Stadium): It was old, and decrepit, good ridance.
Lehigh (Goodman Stadium): Damn nice place to watch a game
Dartmouth (Memorial Stadium): Good lines of sight, but let's have more than two restrooms with running water please!
New Hampshire (Cowell Stadium): A sub-standard high school stadium with the same plumbing problems as Dartmouth
Boston University (Nickerson Field): Lines of sight could have been better. But the grandstand was originally built for baseball.... At least they served beer.
Harvard (Harvard Stadium): Great stadium, great lines of sight, but you sit on concrete. It's my favorite because I'd just walk up to Harvard Sq. and catch the T into Boston to party!
UMass (McGuirk Stadium): It is what it is. A decent stadium that didn't cost too much to build. Lines of sight are good.
Brown (Brown Stadium): Nice old stadium. In a residential neighborhood, so parking can be tough for a large crowd, unfortunately, that's seldom a problem at Brown.
Northeastern (Parson's Field): Since Upsala College closed it's doors, I can safely say that every football stadium in the Centennial Conference and Middle Atlantic Conf. (both D-III) are MUCH better!
Holy Cross (Fitton Field): My 2nd favorite after Harvard. Good lines of sight. Adequate concessions and restrooms. Parking was up on top of the hill though.

I-A:
Boston College (Alumni Stadium): No restooms on the upper deck concourse of the endzone stands.... had to walk all the way down stairs.
Arizona State (Sun Devil Stadium): Good lines of sight, plenty of parking (if you're not afraid to walk) and lots of bars and restarunts close by.
Arizona (Arizona Stadium): I have season tickets, so I'm partial to it.

Misc:
Bank One Ballpark (Phoenix, AZ): I saw an Insight Bowl there a few years ago. Made the mistake of getting endzone seats (3B line). The shallow slant of the stands meant it was a lousy view. I may as well have been standing on the field and watching the game.

Marcus, I'm telling ya - you would LOVE Delaware Stadium. I know you are not crazy about the Hens, but if you could get beyond that, you would enjoy a game there if/when you get back east. The east/west stands are pitched at an angle which is no longer allowed by the ADA (which is why we can't upgrade our pressbox - but that's a different story), so the lines of sight are excellent - even in highest seats.

Oh, I'm sure I would. I don't know if I'll ever have an opportunity to see a game there though. If you noticed, except for Lehigh, all the stadiums I've been too have been in either New England or Arizona, which are the regions I've lived in since finishing college.

I'm back East about once ever 2 or 3 years these days. Frankly, checking out Citizens Bank Park is higher on my priority list than any college football stadium! :D

I think your stadium was nice, but I got to tell you that a one-sided stadium just doesn't seem complete! And, since you ask, why in the world would you have a one-sided stadium that faces the sun in the afternoon when you mainly play afternoon games? I know that the stadium seating can be seen from the bottom of the hill (hense Hilltoppers) but it would make more sense to play night games if the one sided stadium is facing the afternoon sun.

Other than that, you facility was top notch. Your fans were nice to us visitors and my group had a wonderful time (except that we lost the game).

Other than seeing your favorite I-AA team play at home, what other I-AA stadiums have you been too? As sad and pathetic as this is the only other stadium I've been to is when Umass played at Boston University when they were still part of the Yankee Conference. But I hope that changes this year, I'm going to try and make it to either Colgate or Delaware.
We need to get Chris Buchanan on this strand. Chris has not missed a McNeese game (home or away) in 30 years! His list is probably double anybody else list!

I know that he surpassed the 300th consecutive game back in 2002 mid season.

In 2003-2004 visited: Bucknell, Penn, Iona, Marist, Morehead State,
In 2004-2005 visited Holy Cross, St. Peter's, Fordham, LaSalle, Robert Morris.
Will add St. Francis, Georgetown, and Columbia this season.
Also been to Lehigh and Lafayette since I live in Bethlehem.
Best by far was Penn, worst a close tie between Iona, St. Peter's and Marist.
Longest trip was to Morehead (700 miles).
Actually you can add Duquesne to the list of worst stadiums since we know it is terrible. Time to improve the Duquesne stadium but that's old news :deadhorse

I think your stadium was nice, but I got to tell you that a one-sided stadium just doesn't seem complete! And, since you ask, why in the world would you have a one-sided stadium that faces the sun in the afternoon when you mainly play afternoon games? I know that the stadium seating can be seen from the bottom of the hill (hense Hilltoppers) but it would make more sense to play night games if the one sided stadium is facing the afternoon sun.

Other than that, you facility was top notch. Your fans were nice to us visitors and my group had a wonderful time (except that we lost the game).

That is an annoyance. WKU rarely play afternoon games anymore. Early in the season most games are played after 6 pm, then gets earlier as the season goes on because of the sun, especially after Homecoming. I always wear a visor or sunglasses doing those games.

From what I've heard, St. Francis, though scenic, may set a new low. Take some panoramic pictures, I've never seen any of the 1,500-seat Pine Bowl.

Preliminary plans are for a trip to W'burg. I haven't been there for at least 20 years and it will be four more years before another regular season game there. When plans get finalized, I'll seek out some more information. Hopefully, we can see the offenses unleashed unlike last year's game in the Nor'easter/Hurricane!!

I've been to Chattanooga, Furman (twice), Wofford, but never missed a home game in the 4 years I've been at GSU.

Plan on making it to Boone this year. Want to go to Boston for the Northeastern game, and Brookings(is that it?) for the SDSU game, we'll see if I have the funds/ a job so I can go.

I should also add that I've driven by Marist's several times (I live in Poughkeepsie) and I competed twice with my high school marching band at Hofstra. We also went to the NY State Championships at the Carrier Dome for all 4 years, which was pretty sweet.

I think you all are missing out by not getting down to Macomb, Illinois. Hanson Field boasts an above average tailgate as well as some good local eateries and an excellent bar scene. Don't forget the central location and pleasant scenery as you cruise along 67, 134, or any other major highway that leads into the sticks of central Illinois.
