ELON, N.C. -- With its fifth consecutive winning season on the line, the Elon Phoenix football team will play host to the eighth-ranked Appalachian State Mountaineers in a 3 p.m. game on Saturday afternoon. Elon (5-5, 3-4 SoCon) is coming off of a 41-34 victory over 17th-ranked Furman last week. ASU visits Rhodes Stadium with a 7-3 overall record and a 5-2 league mark.
