Anyone who was in Municipal Stadium on Saturday saw what David Blackwell was working on from the very first play from scrimmage, as he weaved through the Savannah State defense en route to Bethune-Cookman's longest run of the year, ending 80 yards later in a touchdown. The national media outlets and the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference office also took note, adorning him with fitting honors for the performance.
